My name is Adrian Farray and I’m honored to have this opportunity to share my story with you and to help you to grow in life and succeed in your business. On my site you will find an extensive variety of turnkey information, content, tips, and tricks that have been time tested and proven to help you succeed in whatever aspect of life that you apply them. My objective here is to EMPOWER others to adopt and embrace Mind, Body, and Spirit alignment, which is the driving force of our being.
A little bit about me…
First and Foremost: I am a born again Christian and when I say I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, I truly believe and mean it with every ounce of my being. God is a God of abundance, there is NOTHING about him that attracts or generates insufficiency, lack, or limit. We are all here to do great things and to have an abundance of wealth and prosperity, if we only follow his word.
I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY but have lived in Houston since the tender age of four. Growing up I was what my mother called a “rambunctious kid”, always into something, getting into trouble, just being a wild child, which also meant plenty of butt-whoopings.lol! I thank Mom for it though; otherwise I wouldn’t be the man I am today.
I always played sports as a kid, and I just knew that I was going to be a pro baseball player. I traded those dreams in to be like my other friends and play football (stupid move). Going into my last year of High School (wild times) and all of my short college career I traded those dreams in for drugs and parties, and women which in return got me kicked out of college and back home with Mom. Let’s just say I received a lot more than a butt-whooping and a really hard lesson that time around.
A taste of the real world…
I knew I couldn’t stay home after messing up my college career, so I enlisted in the Marine Corp. I spent 5 years in the Marines with the last 8 months of that being in Operation Iraqi Freedom. It was my time in the Corp, the comradeship of my fellow Marines, traveling and meeting people all over the world, which really opened up my eyes to what I wanted to do, and that was help people. I just be a good person, someone who could be an inspiration to others. I can honestly say these were some of the best years of my life! I realized just how precious and sometimes short that life really is. We often take life for granted and miss out on a world of infinite abundance and prosperity which is attainable for all who desire it.
After leaving the Marines in August 03 and being a couch potato back home with mom for about 6 months, I finally started a job at 24 Hour Fitness. This was a sweet gig just to pass time, work out for free and check out hot woman all day but even that got boring especially with the low pay and stupid cold call quotas we had to meet every day. So one day a lady calls in inquiring some info about a membership and I just struck up conversation and asked her where she worked. It just so happen that she worked Aviation at a Flight Operations building literally 5 minutes from home so I asked if they were hiring and she said put in an application. I put in an app on line and they literally called me 2 minutes after I sent it. The guy who called me said it was my lucky day because he just happen to be online checking applications. I just knew that this was it for me and sure enough they hired me as an Aviation flight planner which I also did in the Marines while stationed in Japan. It was great and I was grounded for awhile but still didn’t have that satisfaction for which I was looking. I was still trading time for dollars, and it was still a J-O-B (Just Over Broke) and I wasn’t able to expose my true talents which needed to be let free . I knew there had to be a better way and I would soon be introduced to it.
First exposure to the industry…Rise and Fall…
One day my friend Brice, who was also a Marine came to me about an opportunity to help people get healthy and make some serious cash with a great product that the nation was going crazy over…lol! I was introduced to my first MLM business; yes, I was selling the JUICE! This juice did great things for my body, I was sleeping better, losing weight, and my head was more clear and refreshed. I felt my body go through a change that I wanted everyone I knew to experience. So I jumped in with both feet and did everything my “upline” told me.
I made a list of 100 people, knocked on doors, passed out flyers, went to seminars, followed the 3 foot rule, hosted juice parties, and bought real time “bull crap” leads. I mean you name it, I was doing it. I even flew to Clearlake, California (not a hot spot by any means) and lived with a friend in my upline for a month – A WHOLE FREAKIN’ MONTH – and sold only 2 cases of juice, one to a 78 year old woman who cancelled her order before I even left town. (Very sweet lady though…)
Let’s just say it didn’t quite turn out the way I planned. I became a part of the NFL (No Friends / Family Left) and I was left with no money. Don’t get me wrong, I made a little bit here and there, my biggest check was $2500.00 bucks but it wasn’t enough to call myself a successful entrepreneur by any stretch of the word. My downline fell apart and the company started making changes. The worst part about it is that I had quit my primary job because I just knew this was going to take off for me…NOT!
It was so bad that I ended up using my military pension that I was supposed to be saving to pay bills, which still wasn’t enough, so I had to sell all kinds of personal belongings every month just to make it by and portray a successful “work from home” persona. I would smile in my friends’ and family’s faces and say “all is well”, when in reality it was everything but that. Does any of this sound familiar to you? I thought it might!
So how could I possibly be doing everything they asked me, and THEN SOME, and still be making next to nothing in comparison to what my upline was making??? I tell you why: first of all, my MINDSET was wrong; secondly, the marketing approach that I was being taught was not only wrong, but it was the old way of doing things.
One thing I did learn in that first year is what DOESN’T work and that I had to change my way of approaching the marketing arena. Shortly after that, my good friend, Matt in Austin, introduced me to a Guru named Mike Dillard. This was the day EVERYTHING changed.
When it all changed…
While studying Mike Dillard’s work I finally started to realize what marketing really was. I yearned to understand the dynamics and potent strategies that were making this marketing arena such a phenomenal venture. Mike was an average guy waiting tables that decided he wanted change, and he did that with his creation of Magnetic Sponsoring. Let me just say the $30 bucks I spent had more significance than anything I ever purchased before that point, hands down. While studying him and finding other Gurus like Eben Pagan, Joe Schroeder, Jeffrey Combs, and Dani Johnson just to name a few, I started to piece all of their “golden nuggets” together. It literally hit me like a 5 ton truck!
To be successful in this business you have to be 100 % passionate and committed to YOUR craft (not the companies) and be truly faithful in your works or your destination is failure without question. This isn’t about your juice or your pills or whatever opportunity you’re affiliated with is about, it’s all about you, “You Inc”.
